Our Services
Our services here at GraceWell Homecare consist of a variety of options that are geared towards making each client feel as much comfort as possible. Here are some of the services and treatments we offer here at GraceWell Homecare.
Preventative general skin care. When skin is unbroken, and when any chronic skin problems are not active and may include the application of non-medicated lotions and solutions. Or of lotions and solutions not requiring a physician’s prescription.
Assist clients with ambulation.
- Each caregiver is trained in the specific techniques required to
perform a bed bath safely and effectively. - Clients or their representatives are encouraged to participate in or
guide the bathing process and provide ongoing feedback to ensure
comfort and satisfaction. - The agency conducts competency evaluations to ensure caregivers
are skilled in all required methods and consistently meet our high
standards of care.
Assist a client with dressing. This may include assistance with ordinary clothing and application of support stockings of the type that can be purchased without a physician’s prescription.
Assist a client with exercise. Passive assistance with exercise is limited to encouraging normal bodily movement, as tolerated, on the part of the client, and to encouragement with a prescribed exercise program.
Assistance with feeding. When the client can independently swallow and be positioned upright.
Assist with the maintenance and appearance of their hair. Hair care within these limitations may include shampooing with non-medicated shampoo or shampoo that does not require a physician’s prescription, drying, combing and styling hair.
Assist in and perform mouth care. This may include denture care and basic oral hygiene, including oral suctioning for mouth care.
Assist with nail care. May include soaking of nails, pushing back cuticles without utensils, and filing nails. No nail trimming.
Assist a client with positioning when the client is able to identify to the personal care staff, either verbally, non-verbally or through others, when the position needs to be changed, only when skilled skin care, as previously described, is not required in conjunction with the positioning. Positioning may include simple alignment in a bed, wheelchair, or other furniture.
Assist a client with shaving only with an electric or a safety razor.
- A caregiver may empty or change external urine collection devices, such as catheter bags or suprapubic catheters
- A caregiver may also empty ostomy bags and provide assistance with other client-directed ostomy care only when there is no need for skilled skin care or for observation or reporting to a nurse
Our caregivers are trained to assist with safe transfers between beds, chairs, and other surfaces. They may use home equipment such as wheelchairs, tub seats, or gait belts as needed, following proper safety procedures. Care is tailored to each client’s abilities and home environment to ensure comfort and independence.
Caregivers may assist clients with medication reminders only when medications have been pre-selected by the client, a family member, a nurse, or a pharmacist, and are stored in a medication organizer rather than the original prescription bottles. Organizers should be clearly labeled with the day and time of each dose.
Medication reminders may include checking whether medications have been taken, verbally prompting the client, handing the labeled organizer to the client, or opening it if the client is physically unable to do so. These guidelines apply to all prescription and over-the-counter medications.
Caregivers must immediately report any irregularities such as missed doses or deviations from the prescribed schedule to the supervisor.
If services include use of the client’s personal funds:
The Agency will obtain an authorization from the client/responsible party, for access to personal funds when grocery or other shopping services are to be provided and when those services include assistance with bill paying or any activities, such as shopping, that involve access to or use of client funds.

Peace of Mind for Our Clients and Their Families
When routine tasks become challenging, our hourly services provide support with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, cooking, cleaning, medication reminders, errands, and more. By assisting with these activities, our caregivers help clients maintain independence, routines, and comfort in their own homes.
Our professional caregivers are dedicated to the overall wellbeing of each client and are available 24/7 for support. Hourly home care is flexible there is no long-term commitment, and services can be used only as long as needed.
Each caregiver is experienced in senior care, undergoes thorough background checks, and follows strict professional guidelines. Live-in caregivers maintain their own residence and are only present in the client’s home during assigned hours. They are prohibited from using the client’s property for personal purposes.
Our goal is not only to provide care, but also to bring joy, comfort, and peace to every client. We set ourselves apart by offering compassionate, client-centered care and a “whatever the client needs” attitude.
